Today Richard Mille announces two new replica RM 055 Bubba Watson limited editions. They join previous timepieces in the Bubba Watson line, which includes the RM 038 Tourbillon Bubba Watson (2011), the RM 38-01 Tourbillon G-Sensor (2014) and the RM 055 Bubba Watson (2015), the new limited editions are crafted from extraordinarily lightweight materials and are highly skeletonized.
The three-part, tonneau-shaped cases feature NTPT Carbon top and bottom bezels (an incredibly light material, which by the way looks even better in person than on screen), and casebands of blasted titanium. The “White Legend” is distinguished by its white inner bezel, hands, and crown protector, whereas the “Dark Legend” is black with a red crown protector, logo and strap. Inside is Mille’s caliber RMUL2, a manual-winding movement that is capable of withstanding accelerations of over 5000 Gs, allowing it to perform on the wrist of a golfer with a massive drive—like Bubba Watson.
Fitted on rubber strap with titanium buckle, each model is limited to 90-pieces, and priced at $120,000 per.
